What year did you begin teaching?
I began teaching in 1977 and taught in Wisconsin and Iowa until 1982. I then had my own “in home” childcare while my children were infants and toddlers. My family moved to Michigan in 1986 and that fall I began working at the Gingerbread House Preschool.
How long have you been teaching at Holy Family?
After working as a teacher and co-director at the preschool for nine years, I came to Holy Family. In 1995, I began teaching 5th grade and did so for ten years. In 2005, I took on the position of Assistant Principal. I have worked in that position for seven years and will be returning to the classroom in the fall of 2012 as a first grade teacher.
