What year did you begin teaching? How long have you been teaching at Holy Family?

I began teaching and started at Holy Family in the fall of 2002.

Favorite Subjects

All subjects of course!  However I love math and Social Studies.

Why I chose to become a teacher

I love teaching children and seeing their faces light up when something “clicks”.  Working with kids has always been a passion of mine that began at age 14 when I was teaching dance classes.

What I like most about teaching at Holy Family

Supportive parents, administrators, and coworkers is truly a blessing and I love that I can bring prayer and God to my classroom every day!

How your faith influences teaching

It’s an amazing feeling that I can openly talk about God and my faith every day.  There are many times when others are in need of prayers and I can ask my classroom children to pray for others in need.

Your favorite bible passage

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
