What year did you begin teaching?

I began teaching in 1989.

How long have you been teaching at Holy Family?

The 2012-13 school year will be my 8th year teaching at Holy Family. I am very blessed to be a teacher in our school, because working with the other staff and students here has been my most rewarding teaching experience.

Favorite Subjects

I love being able to teach both Life Science and Physical Science.   Both subjects allow so many opportunities for fruitful discussions and hand on labs with the students.

Why I chose to become a teacher

I became a teacher because I love to learn, and  I wanted to share my enthusiasm with young people. I hope they see through my lessons that there are many oppportunities for them to make a difference through faith.

What I like most about teaching at Holy Family

I love working in a place that values each person as a child of God. Christ is the reason for everything we do here. I love being able to pray and worship with the students every day.   They inspire me.

How your faith influences teaching

I am extremely privileged to teach both Science and Religion.  It is good for students to see that there is not a conflict between these two subjects.  God gave us both the intellectual ability to wonder and discover, and our faith.

Your favorite Bible passage

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 8:38
